Helping you build a stronger, more resilient practice

SCOTT CHAMBERS
FOUNDER, CHAMBERS COMPLIANCE ADVISORY GROUP
I've spent more than 30 years working in compliance, governance, regulatory oversight and risk management within Canada's financial services industry.
During that time, I've seen regulations change, regulatory expectations evolve and new risks emerge. And I've seen how difficult it can be for advisors to keep up.
I founded Chambers Compliance Advisory Group to put that experience to work helping you reduce compliance risk and build better systems within your practice.
But my objective isn't simply to help you address the compliance risks you face today.
It's to help you build a more resilient practice that's better equipped to adapt to whatever comes next.
Compliance should strengthen your practice
You have clients to serve, a team to lead and a business to grow. Compliance shouldn't become another job on top of all of that.
I believe the strongest compliance programs aren't necessarily the ones that do the most. They're the ones that consistently do the right things, focus attention where it matters most and have systems that support the way the practice actually operates.
That's the perspective I bring to my work with you.
I don't approach your practice as an auditor looking for reasons to tell you what you're doing wrong. I help you take an independent look at where you may be exposed, determine what deserves your attention and strengthen the way compliance operates within your business.
Experience you can put to work
My career has given me the opportunity to work with financial advisors, MGAs, insurers and compliance professionals across Canada's financial services industry.
That experience has spanned compliance, governance, regulatory oversight, risk management and distribution, giving me a broad perspective on both what regulators expect and the practical realities of running an advisory business.
Today, I bring that experience directly to financial advisors through Chambers Compliance Advisory Group.
I also write The Compliant Advisor, my weekly newsletter focused on practical compliance issues affecting financial advisors and their practices.
Preparing for what's next
Building a resilient practice also means thinking beyond the way your business operates today.
If you're preparing to buy or sell an advisory practice, I can help you identify compliance risks and gaps that could affect the transaction, the transition or the value of the business.
Let's talk about your practice
If you'd like to reduce compliance risk, strengthen your systems and build a practice that's better prepared for what comes next, let's have a conversation and see if we're a good fit.
